Humble is built around hearing a real voice before you ever meet — that's a real head start on safety most apps don't give you. Here's how to stay safe from there.

Before you meet

• You already heard their voice. Every match on Humble opens with a voice intro, so you have more signal than a photo alone before you decide to talk further.
• Every profile is selfie-verified. We require a verification selfie, compared against profile photos, before anyone can appear in the discovery deck — it doesn't guarantee good intentions, but it rules out obviously fake accounts.
• Video or voice chat first. Before meeting in person, have at least one longer voice or video call.
• Tell a friend. Share your date's name and your meeting plans with someone you trust, including when you expect to be back.

When you meet

• Meet in public. Choose a public place for at least your first meeting, and arrange your own transportation there and back.
• Never send money. Humble matches will never have a legitimate reason to ask you for money, gift cards, or crypto — if it happens, stop talking to them and report the account immediately.
• Trust your instincts. If something feels off, you're allowed to leave, cancel, or block — no explanation required.

Report and block

Report and block are one tap away in every chat and on every profile. Reporting a conversation queues our safety team to review the recent voice history in that match. Repeat or serious violations lead to an account strike, and a second strike results in a permanent ban. Blocking someone instantly ends any match with them and removes you from each other's discovery deck.
